With Star Wars: The Force Awakens still in cinemas, the first few shots of Star Wars VIII have just been released. Picking up from where The Force Awakens left off, we see Rey and Luke meeting face-to-face (on the site of the First Jedi Temple, no less, in a move that wil surely have Star Wars-o-philes squealing with glee) in an epic moment that serves to highlight the merging of old and new that this project represents.
Just as things are getting somewhere, the video cuts to the prodution team, keeping us all in suspense.
