ALL SYSTEMS GO FOR THE MALTA AIR SHOW
Aircraft due to participate in the Malta International Air Show have started landing at Luqa today, among them the world famous Italian aerobatic team the Frecce Tricolori (tri-colour arrows) and the Spanish military's display team, the Patrulla Aguila.
This edition of the air show promises to be one of the best ever, featuring three display teams and various other exciting aircraft making an appearance. According to Malta's airport meteorological office, Saturday and Sunday should see partly cloudy weather: no rain is forecast.
Thanks to our special collaborator, the aviation - and childrens' - photographer Estelle Calleja, SWAG presents some pictures from this afternoon's aerial activity. Check out more of Estelle's work here and here, and find out all you need to know about the airshow from this website.
